IGLHRC is pleased to post this invitation from our colleagues at ASWAT (a Palestinian gay women's group from Haifa, Israel) and congratulate them on their five year anniversary. We were honored to celebrate the accomplishments of Rauda Morcos, ASWAT's General Coordinator, with our Felipa Award in 2006 at our A Celebration of Courage event in New York City and San Francisco.

On this day Aswat celebrates five fruitful years of social change and raising awareness in the Palestinian Community. Aswat also proudly lunches the first published book in Arabic: Home and Exile in Queer Identity:A Collection of Articles about Lesbian and Homosexual Identity
