Colombia: Senate Session Suspended; Support Bill Now

UPDATE
The First Commission of the Colombian Senate suspended the session in which senator Piedad Cordoba's proposal for same sex unions and anti-discrimination based on sexual orientation/identity was to be debated. Senator Cordoba is concerned because the suspension happened immediately after she had allowed delegates from LGB-T organizations to speak to the Senators.
Now more than ever, the Colombian proposal needs your support. Please write TODAY, expressing your support for the Civil Union proposal and asking that it be discussed by the Colombian Senate in session.
In your letter of support, you can use arguments and language from the sample letter of our original November 14 action alert.
