The International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC) has received civil society status from the Organization for American States (OAS). Civil society status will enable IGLHRC to attend and make presentations at OAS meetings and provide information and expert advice on the drafting of OAS documents. La Comisión Internacional de Derechos Humanos para Gays y Lesbianas (IGLHRC) ha recibido de la Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA) el estatus de participante de la sociedad civil en este organismo. Este estatus facilitará la participación de IGLHRC en reuniones de la OEA como así también en consultas relevantes para la elaboración de resoluciones y otros documentos.
