Donovan Emmanuel is a trained HIV and AIDS activist, peer educator and voluntary testing counselor, and has worked in these capacities with United Gays and Lesbians against Aids Barbados (UGLAAB), Associate for International Development (AID Inc.), Community Health Action and Transformation (CHAT) and Caribbean HIV&AIDS Alliance (CHAA).

Donovan is currently pursuing a degree in social work and hopes to become a trained social worker focusing on vulnerable and marginalized people.
