In a historic decision, workers at the Cooperativa Bancaria through their collective bargaining agreement have received health and other benefits for unmarried couples, including same sex partners. Uruguayan activist Fernando Frontán has asked that letters of congratulations and support be sent to the following addresses applauding the Cooperativa Bancaria for its decision to include same sex partner in their benefit package:
